A message to my mom in heaven
Mom today marks it five years you are gone, though it feels like yesterday.
Life without you is empty and void. I seem so lost in this world looking forward to the day I shall be bound to you again.
Mom, you are the true definition of an angel and an ideal mother.
You cared for me as a child, even to my adult stag. You always told me also if I have a baby, I am still your baby.
You were always with me in each step I took in life. You were my human savior and confidant.
Even in my next world, I won’t ask for another mother, if not you.
You taught me a lot of things, and you are the foundation of my life. You raised me to the best person on earth.
I can remember how we spend our Saturday evenings by the beach when I started college and had little time to spend with you. You made it compulsory for us to meet at the beach and catch up on each other’s lives.
You were both my mother and best friend. You fight my wars like they are yours, you so much understand me as no one else does. You never once raised your voice at me; instead, you taught me the right part and how to settle things amicably. You were never a fan of violence.
I know you are always watching me and that your guiding hand will forever be on my shoulders. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss you. You will always be loved.
