A Woman Who Had 10 Babies In A Decade And Is Expecting Her 11th The Plans Don’t Stop When Her Brood Reaches 12

After marrying 32-year-old church pastor Chris Rogers in October 2008, 36-year-old Courtney Rogers, from New Mexico, USA, became a stay-at-home mum and gave birth to six healthy boys and four girls, and is now 33 weeks ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ again.

Courtney, mother of Clint, 10, Clay, 9, Cade, 8, Callie, 7, Cash, 5, twins Colt and Case, 5, Kalena, 3, Kaidoo, 2, and Coralie, 1, is expecting another daughter on November 19.

Her first winter baby, she hopes her appearance will make Christmas – on which the couple are spending $1,000 (£780) on presents for their children aged between one and ten.

Courtney, whose life is so busy she only has one “date night” a year with Chris, who drives the family around in a 15-seater van, says: “We’re excited to be expecting a child again.

Chris and Courtney, who spend $1,200 (£936) each month on food for the family, are also home-schooling their children and started saving in January – stopping all meals out and unnecessary shopping that was costing them more than $1,000 (£780) a month.

They save money by passing on clothes to older children, and their big treat is an annual week-long camping holiday near their relatives in Georgia, 1,500 miles away, which costs $1,000 (£780) in travel and other expenses.

But Courtney says the rare occasions when they do spend time alone are particularly special.But family is the most important thing in the lives of devoted parents.

And she doesn’t believe having an 11th baby will lead to any extra work.

I’ve never had more than three boys or girls in a row, and now we’re expecting a girl after our youngest daughter, Coralie, turned one, so I’ve broken the record as this is my fourth girl in a row. The kids are so excited.

“I love being pregnant,” said Courtney, who has never had morning sickness and chooses not to use birth control, which she says is not on religious grounds.

“I love growing another person inside me, thinking about what they will be like and picking out names.

“I don’t think it will make much difference to our day to day schedule. They will just fit right in and we’ll carry on,” she said.

“This will be our first baby around the holiday season – just a week before Thanksgiving Day and not long before Christmas, so that will be a bit different. It will definitely make things more hectic for the celebrations and more expensive!

“Hopefully, I’ll be feeling well enough to enjoy the festivities, though.

Her family works like clockwork – she gets up with Coralie at 7.30am, making sure the other children are up and have breakfast of cereal and fruit by 8am.

The older children all have chores and help clean up after breakfast before school starts, taking a break after a few hours to help on the farm.

Everyone pitches in to make a lunch of sandwiches or leftovers before the younger children nap and the rest watch a movie or do chores.

And despite the World Health Organization’s recommendations to pause 18 to 24 months between pregnancies, Courtney, who after a C-section was advised by doctors to leave a longer period if she wanted to give birth vaginally, sees no reason to stop raising her offspring.

She said: “I have been criticised for having my children so close together, but I take good care of myself and my babies.
