An Elderly Paddy Goes To The Doctor.

An elderly man Paddy goes to the doctor, who after examining him says,

“You have some problems with your heart, but if you take these tablets, you should be fine.”

The doctor gives Paddy the tablets, and he asks,

“Do I need to take them every day?”

“No,” replies the doctor,

“take one on Monday, skip Tuesday, take one on Wednesday, skip Thursday, and so on.”

Two weeks later, the doctor sees Paddy’s wife and asks,

“How’s Paddy doing?”

“Oh, he’s been exhausted!” says Mrs. Murphy.

“The tablets are fine, but all the skipping has worn him out!”
