Who doesn’t love Italian food, right? Now you can celebrate National Italian Food Day with Michael Angelo’s and enjoy the delicious taste of Italy at home!

Where would you live if you could move anywhere in the world? I’d move to Italy in a heartbeat. I’ve been several times but those trips were all years ago. I need to go back!

One of my favorite things about visiting Italy is the food but the great thing is that we don’t have to go all the way to Italy to enjoy delicious Italian food. Today is National Italian Food Day and we’re planning to have our own Italian feast at home with Michael Angelo’s.

National Italian Food Day With Michael Angelo’s

The great thing about Michael Angelo’s entrees are both affordable and convenient.  I find them in the freezer section at Publix and Walmart and keep a few stashed away in my own freezer for quick and easy dinners. I love the fact that we don’t have to give up taste for convenience though. Michael Angelo’s products are full of delicious homemade flavor and since they have no fillers, additives or preservatives, I can feel good about serving them to my family. 

Once reason these dinners are so flavorful is because they’re made with wholesome, simple ingredients. Instead of a list of ingredients nobody can pronounce, they have high quality ingredients like artisan cheeses, vine-ripened tomatoes and heirloom garlic. 

To celebrate National Italian Food Day, we decided to start with one of our favorites, Michael Angelo’s Lasagna With Meat Sauce. This lasagna is really delish and my girls get really excited when they smell it cooking in the oven. Even my hubby says it’s really good, and he’s a bit of a foodie so he would know!

You won’t find a dinner that’s much easier…just pop it in the oven for about an hour and you’re good to go. I like to top it with a little parsley and parmesan cheese and sometimes I’ll even sprinkle on a few pepper flakes. It’s the go-to for when we’ve been out and about and I don’t have time to prepare a big meal. It’s also the perfect dinner idea for National Italian Food Day!

We didn’t stop with the lasagna though. My hubby has a big appetite, plus we all love having leftovers to munch on the next day. I popped the Chicken Parmigiana in the oven and cooked it too. Frozen entrees never tasted this good!

Set aside Lasagna With Meat Sauce…you’ve got some tough competition! This may just be our new fave!

The next night, we decided to give the Eggplant Parmigiana a try. None of us had ever had it but we love trying new things and this didn’t disappoint.

Who says you can’t celebrate National Italian Food Day two nights in a row? We like to make our own rules!

The ingredients of these dishes really shine through and I that Michael Angelo’s entrees give me dinner options that not only make my life easier but taste amazing too!
