I love making no carve pumpkins and am always looking for fun, unique ideas. Sometimes it’s fun to stick to the traditional themes though and it doesn’t get more traditional than bats, right?

I even got to share this cute pumpkin when I co-hosted Sarasota’s Suncoast View recently. I always love hanging out with the Suncoast View gang and you can check out my Halloween pumpkin segment for even more ideas.

How To Make A Bat Pumpkin

This bat pumpkin is so easy that kids of any age can make it. Just cut the pieces for the younger kids and give them a bottle of white glue (instead of a glue gun) and they’re good to go. It’s very similar to the spider pumpkin I made last year, just without the big fuzzy legs.

Start by grabbing a bunch of these styrofoam pumpkins from one of the dollar stores. Since they’re only $1, you can experiment and make as many pumpkins as you want. I use them for almost all my Halloween pumpkin ideas! Ready to get started?

Notes

Estimated cost is based on what you’d pay at a dollar store. Buying on Amazon will cost more but you do get the trade-off of having the supplies delivered straight to your door.

Easy right? This no carve bat pumpkin was so much fun but you don’t have to stop there! Why not make a butterfly pumpkin, unicorn pumpkin or even a Frankenstein pumpkin? It’s so much fun you won’t be able to stop yourself!
