Grief is like living two lives

[ad_1]

Grief is one of the strongest human emotion that a person can feel in their lifetime. The worst thing about it is-it is never fleeting. We can wallow in grief for hours, days, months, and some even in years. Some people learn to move on, but will never be the same. There are those who just can’t seem to find the light beyond the dark tunnel. One thing is for sure though, dealing with grief is never easy.

“Someday you’re gonna look back on this moment of your life as such a sweet time of grieving. You’ll see that you were in mourning and your heart was broken, but your life was changing.”

“Through all those times I lived in sorrows, I learned that grief isn’t the answer, but staying happy is what keeps life going.”

“You don’t choose your life; it chooses you. There’s no point asking why life has reserved certain joys or griefs, you just accept them and carry on. We can’t choose our lives, but we can decide what to do with the joys or griefs were given.”

“Though my heart may be heavy with grief, I will keep my head up and smile about the good things despite tears. Staying strong so that the light within burns bright”

“There’s more grief when we keep silent about issues that matter to the heart, in the society and the world at large”

“The risk of love is loss, and the price of loss is grief-but the pain of grief is only a shadow when compared with the pain of never risking love.”

“You will lose someone you can’t live without, and your heart will be badly broken, and the bad news is that you never completely get over the loss of your beloved. But this is also the good news. They live forever in your broken heart that doesn’t seal back up. And you come through. It’s like having a broken leg that never heals perfectly-that still hurts when the weather gets cold, but you learn to dance with the limp.”

“I should know enough about loss to realize that you never really stop missing someone-you just learn to live around the huge gaping hole of their absence.”
