Keanu Reeves appears on red carpet with first girlfriend in decades

Keanu Reeves is one of the most loved and celebrated men on the planet, so it’s really no surprise he sent the internet into meltdown when he appeared on the red carpet holding hands with girlfriend Alexandra Grant.
The 55-year-old actor has been cagey on his relationship status for as long as anyone can remember, but it would appear there’s certainly love in the air … and people couldn’t be happier.
Reeves and Grant were seen smiling and holding hands as they walked the red carpet at the LACMA Art + Film Gala Presented By Gucci in Los Angeles this weekend.
No sooner were the two seen together than did the rumor-mill burst into life, with many taking to social media to express their delight.
The Matrix star has somewhat famously steered away from being cozy with women on the red carpet over the course of his 35-year career, but it would appear Los Angeles-based artist Grant has changed all that.
Though nothing’s concrete (I mean, these things aren’t exactly announced in a press release) Keanu seems happy, which is no doubt enough to warm fans around the world.
The actor, who has carved a reputation as an all-round good guy for his various acts of philanthropy and compassion, is said to have met Grant during a 2011 collaboration.
It makes us feel good to see Keanu Reeves with a smile on his face!
