Most people can’t spot the cat among the pigeons in less than 18 seconds

Brainteasers can be quite good fun when they’re not infuriatingly difficult. I mean, I guess the point is that they’re hard, otherwise they wouldn’t be teasing your brain, but you take my meaning, I hope.

In any case, pet food brand Natures Menu have uploaded their own brainteaser to Twitter in honor of National Cat Day, which takes place tomorrow.

It’s their aim to raise awareness for the number of cats across the world in need of loving homes.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it … Find the cat amongst the pigeons in less than 18 seconds.

In all honesty, it took me longer than 18 seconds. 22 to be precise.

That said, I have the eyes of a blind earthworm, so it’s hardly a surprise. My hope is that you fine people out there can have a go yourselves and bring the average right down!
