Seven-Layer Salad Recipe – Clicky News

[ad_1]

This seven-layer salad recipe by In The Kitchen With Gina Young on YouTube is easy to make that’s filled with all kinds of vegetables. The color of this salad is so satisfying and beautiful, but you can always substitute the vegetables you do not like out. This salad is huge, and it would look amazing at the dinner table to bring over for a dinner gathering or potluck. It’s such an easy recipe, the only time-consuming part is preparing and chopping some of the vegetables. But, it still doesn’t take long at all, and layering the salad would be worth it in the end.

Ingredients:

  • 6 boiled eggs
  • salt and pepper
  • cherry tomatoes
  • cauliflower, chopped
  • mixed greens and romaine lettuce
  • shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup or 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 container of sour cream (1 lb container)
  • 1 small jar Duke’s Mayo
  • frozen peas, thawed
  • fried bacon
  • red onion

Directions:

First, prep your ingredients. Wash and chop any vegetables for the salad. Then start layering with the mixed greens and romaine lettuce on the bottom of the bowl.

Next, think about the different colors when layering this salad. Once all of the vegetables are layered into the bowl, make the sauce on the side to the top it off in the end. Continue to watch In The Kitchen With Gina Young tutorial on YouTube for full instructions and details.

This seven-layer salad amazes me and it looks so delicious with the different colors. I love cheese on my salad so the topping of shredded cheese and bacon looks tasteful. Also, I think scooping the salad out of the bowl can be tricky because the ingredients are jam-packed together. I can’t wait to make my own version of a seven-layer salad.
