Two Kids Were Playing On The Lawn.

Two kids were playing on the lawn when one asked the other,

“Hey, do you know how to ride a bike without training wheels yet?”

“Nope, I dunno,” the other kid shrugged.

“How about you?”

“No, I dunno either.”

Their elderly neighbor, who was watering her flowers nearby, overheard them and approached.

“Hey kids, just so you know, saying ‘dunno’ is pretty slack English.”

“Well, what should we say then?” both kids asked.

“I don’t know,” she replied.

The first kid, confused, asked,

“Well, if you don’t know either, why are you correcting us in the first place?”
